About Lexgulf Publishers Ltd

Lexgulf Publishers Ltdis a London based company which specialises in publications in English on Arab law, particularly business law. The company has one of the longest established publishing programmes in English on Arab commercial law, four of the company’s major looseleaf publications being first published thirty years ago by the London publisher Graham & Trotman, later part of Wolters Kluwer. These titles, The Register of Laws of the Arabian Gulf, and three titles devoted to the business laws of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, have been published and updated virtually continuously since the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Lexgulf Publishers Ltd acquired the former Graham & Trotman Arab Business Law looseleaf series in 2008 from the Dutch publisher Brill Academic, and is presently engaged in updating this series and expanding the range of publications. New publications include Business Laws of Qatar, and Business Laws of Oman.

Lexgulf is known for the high standard of its translations of Arab legislation. Bi-lingual lawyers and judges who have compared Lexgulf translations against alternatives usually prefer the Lexgulf translations.

Although currently Lexgulf publications are available in regularly updated looseleaf volumes, online versions will soon be available as well.

Lexgulf’s subscribers include both national and international law firms in the Gulf, Europe, and the USA, as well as general counsel of major corporations doing business in the Gulf, and university law libraries.
